Care & Stay was built by someone who has spent over fourteen years caring for the people who visit Istanbul — in its finest hotels, its most prestigious boutiques, its most demanding hospitality environments.
We know this city. We know its textures and its rhythms, the places that will restore you and the places that will exhaust you. We know what it feels like to be a visitor who needs something specific from a city that does not automatically offer it. And we know that the medical travel industry, for all its extraordinary growth, still lacks one thing: an honest, independent voice.
Care & Stay is that voice. Built not from data or search engine strategy, but from fourteen years of watching, listening, and caring — professionally and genuinely — for the people who arrive in this city looking for something they cannot find at home.
What We Believe
We believe that a patient making a medical travel decision deserves the same quality of insider knowledge that a seasoned traveller receives from a trusted friend who lives in the city. Not a sales pitch. Not a clinic recommendation dressed up as editorial content. Just honest, considered, experienced perspective — offered freely.
We believe that the medical travel industry in Türkiye has genuine world-class capability — in surgery, in aesthetics, in hair restoration, in dentistry — that is too often obscured by the noise of marketing and the race to the bottom on price. The clinics that operate with real integrity deserve to be found by the patients who are ready for them. And patients who are ready deserve to arrive informed.
We believe that Istanbul itself — the city, its culture, its hospitality, its extraordinary beauty — is a part of the medical travel experience that is almost never acknowledged. It should be. Arriving well-prepared, staying somewhere considered, eating well, and experiencing something of the city is not a luxury add-on. It is what turns a procedure into a genuinely positive chapter.
What Care & Stay Is Not
We are not a clinic directory. We are not a medical tourism agency. We do not receive commissions, referral fees, or any form of payment from the clinics, hotels, or services we write about. We have no commercial relationships with any provider in the medical travel ecosystem.
Our editorial position is simple: we write about what we genuinely believe will help people make better decisions and have better experiences. If we have not seen it, stayed in it, or spoken at length with the people behind it, we do not write about it as though we have. If something does not meet our standards, we do not write about it at all.
Our only interest is in improving the experience and reputation of medical travel in Türkiye — for patients, for the clinics and doctors who deserve better patients, and for Istanbul itself. That independence is the only thing we will never compromise.
